A psychic told me I was Rosalind Russell...

A psychic told me I was Rosalind Russell reincarnated... sadly the math doesn't add up - as far as when she died and when I was born...

I don't really believe in psychics - I used to go to psychic fairs and go up to all the booths and say in my head, "Fuck you", I figured that the real psychics would reply, "No, fuck you" but nobody ever did, they all just look at you and ask you what you want to talk about.

Still I love Rosalind Russell! And like to think of her as my psychic advisor, I channel her whenever possible.

I love this sparkly pantsuit!

Banksy at Disneyland

This Banksy stunt is one of my favorite subversive moments of all time - rad.

Cher and The Osmonds singing Stevie Wonder!

It just doesn't get any better than this... I want Cher's pantsuit and to be followed around daily by matching mormons.

I love this line!

Just happened upon this line from "High Fidelity" as I'm listening to the Brian Eno. It reminded me of an awesome story I heard a couple of weeks ago at Sit N Spin by Matt Price about a sad off he had with a friend.

I gotta watch High Fidelity again - just added it to the Netflix queue - it's #496 I wonder when it will arrive.

"What came first, the music or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?"

-- Rob Gordon (John Cusack), "High Fidelity", based on a book by Nick Hornby
