David Lynch rocks, this is David Lynch's 55 second short filmed with an original Lumiere camera. 40 international directors were asked to make a short film using the original Cinematographe invented by the Lumière Brothers, working under conditions similar to those of 1895. There were three rules: (1) The film could be no longer than 52 seconds, (2) no synchronized sound was permitted, and (3) no more than three takes.
You can see more awesome Lynch videos here.

I love the Cannes 2008 official poster with a photo taken by David Lynch, so gorgeous.
I absolutely adore David Lynch and I wish I could have seen the art show he did this summer in Paris with the fetish artist Louboutin where the Cannes image came from.
Here are two more of the images from the show.

I used to have a real coffee cup that looked like those paper cups you get in every New York deli it just made the coffee taste better. I'm buying these cool cups to drink my cheap wine out of - just like you would at an awesome house party.
